Description

The Lanza is a 2-light wall light built around a geometric framework of interlocking rectangular frames in antique nickel finish, topped with a rectangular off-white linen shade. The frames overlap at different planes, creating depth and visual interest where the metal edges catch light at different angles. Two E14 bulbs (sold separately) sit behind the shade, with the linen diffusing their output evenly across the wall.

Designed for living rooms, dining rooms and hallways where wall-mounted task or accent lighting is needed without taking ceiling headroom, the Lanza measures 254mm wide by 289mm high with a 102mm projection from the wall. The dual bulbs provide balanced illumination across the width of the shade, reducing hotspots and giving enough output for reading or ambient lighting depending on the bulb wattage chosen. The fitting mounts on a standard back plate concealed behind the frame.

The antique nickel finish has a soft brushed surface with a grey-toned patina that sits between polished chrome and aged brass in visual warmth. The linen shade has a tight woven texture visible when backlit, adding another layer of material detail to the metal framework. What bulbs does the Lanza take?

The fitting takes 2 x E14 small Edison screw bulbs, each up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle or golf ball bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for ambient lighting, or higher wattages for task lighting.

Is the shade removable for cleaning?

Yes. The linen shade lifts off the frame once the bulbs are removed, allowing the fabric to be dusted or the frame wiped clean. The linen should be dry-dusted or vacuumed gently rather than washed.

What's the difference between antique nickel and polished nickel?

Antique nickel has a brushed, grey-toned patina with a low-sheen finish that minimises reflections. Polished nickel is brighter and more reflective, closer to chrome in appearance. The antique finish here is warmer and softer under most lighting conditions.

Can this be dimmed?

Dimming capability depends on the bulbs used. If you fit dimmable LED E14 bulbs and pair them with a compatible LED dimmer switch, the Lanza can be dimmed. Standard non-dimmable LEDs will not dim and may flicker on a dimmer circuit.
