The Laguna is a modern rug in grey and black, with broad curved bands that sweep across it in shades of dark grey, mid grey, silver and black, crossed by a single pale cream curve through the centre. The effect is bold but calm, full of movement without any busy detail. It is machine woven from 100% polyester, and its pile is smooth and soft, so it feels gentle under bare feet as well as looking good from the doorway.

We suggest it first for the hallway, where the 60 by 220cm runner follows the length of the floor and the sweeping bands lead the eye along it. It sits just as comfortably in a modern living room: the 120 by 170cm and 160 by 230cm sizes work well in front of a sofa or armchair, and the 200 by 290cm size is large enough to anchor a whole seating area, with a sofa standing on it.
