Description

Laguna is a modern rug in beige and brown, laid out as a patchwork of irregular geometric shapes that fit together like crazy paving. Cream, beige, mid brown and deep chocolate brown sit side by side. Some shapes are flecked with light and dark fibres while others are solid colour, which gives the design depth without making it busy. It is machine woven from 100% polyester, with a smooth, soft pile that feels good underfoot.

The 60 by 220cm runner is made for a hallway, giving you a long stretch of soft floor from the front door. In a living room the larger sizes come into their own: 160 by 230cm sits well in front of a sofa, and 200 by 290cm is generous enough to anchor a seating area or go under a bed. The 80 by 150cm and 120 by 170cm sizes suit a bedside, a reading corner or a smaller room. Its warm neutrals sit comfortably with pale wood floors, cream walls and modern furniture.

It is hard wearing, which settles the question for a busy hallway: it is made to stand up to everyday footfall from the front door. The smooth, soft pile means it stays comfortable in the room where you spend your evenings, too. Before choosing a size, we suggest measuring your floor and leaving a margin of bare floor around the edges so the geometric design has room to breathe.
