Description

Laguna is a modern rug in beige and brown, built around a pattern of concentric rectangles. From a soft beige border, bands of cream, taupe and deep chocolate brown step inwards to a narrow brown panel at the centre. The tones sit close together, so the design feels calm and ordered rather than busy. It is machine woven from 100% polyester, and the pile is smooth and soft to the touch, with a gentle lustre across the different bands.

This is a hallway rug at heart, and the 60 by 220cm runner is the size for that, long and narrow enough to run the length of a corridor. The design is also sold in 80 by 150cm, 120 by 170cm, 160 by 230cm and 200 by 290cm, so it can carry on into a living room. The 80 by 150cm size suits a spot in front of an armchair or a fireplace, while 160 by 230cm or 200 by 290cm sits under a sofa and coffee table to pull a seating area together.
