Kyoto LED Pendant Light - Black With Glossy White Glass

The Kyoto is a 220mm single pendant light combining a matt black metal canopy and rod with two glossy white glass domes separated by a black marble-effect divider ring. An integrated 11W LED sits inside the upper dome, casting warm 3000K light downwards through both glass sections to create ambient and task lighting below.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and breakfast bars, the Kyoto suspends on an adjustable drop ranging from 596mm to 3500mm, allowing it to be set at the correct height above a worktop or table regardless of ceiling height. The double-dome configuration gives the pendant a stacked, architectural presence that works at close range without feeling top-heavy. The black rod conceals the cable run and the cylindrical black metal canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses.

Is the Kyoto dimmable?

The integrated 11W LED runs on 220-240V AC mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility with Maytoni's integrated LED driver.

What height should it hang above a dining table?

The drop is adjustable between 596mm and 3500mm. For a dining table, the pendant typically sits 700-800mm above the table surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. For kitchen islands or breakfast bars, 600-750mm above the worktop is standard.

Can the glass domes be cleaned?

Yes. The glossy white glass can be wiped with a soft, damp microfibre cloth and glass cleaner. Switch off and allow the LED to cool before cleaning. The matt black metalwork can be dusted or wiped with a dry cloth to avoid watermarks.

How many pendants are needed for a kitchen island?
