Description

The Kyle is a 406mm-high wall light built around a cylindrical butterscotch onyx shade mounted on an imperial bronze wrought iron frame. The onyx is a natural mottled quartz with a high-polish finish, showing warm golden-amber tones and mineral veining that vary between individual pieces. A single E27 bulb inside the onyx cylinder (sold separately) casts warm light through the translucent stone, turning the shade itself into the diffuser.

Designed for hallways, living rooms, bedrooms and staircases where ambient accent lighting is needed, the Kyle mounts on a standard wall bracket and projects 140mm from the wall. The wrought iron frame features two curved bands that sweep up from the backplate and cradle the onyx cylinder, giving structural support without obscuring the stone. The imperial bronze finish on the iron provides a dark, slightly aged contrast to the warm onyx tones.

Each onyx shade shows different mineral veining, colour saturation and translucency depending on the section of stone it was cut from, so no two Kyle fittings look identical when lit. The onyx measures approximately 114mm wide and sits within the iron bands at a height that places the centre of the light at roughly 200mm above the mounting point.
