Description
The Kromo is a 480mm wide wall light with two carved optical glass blocks set in a polished chrome frame, each housing a G9 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately). The glass blocks are multi-faceted and curved, refracting light into prismatic patterns across adjacent walls and ceilings. A built-in rocker switch on the backplate allows the light to be turned on and off at the wall without reaching for a remote cord or pull switch.
Designed for bedrooms above side tables, hallways where ambient accent lighting is needed, and living rooms as secondary lighting beside a sofa or reading chair, the Kromo provides decorative and functional light. The 170mm projection from the wall means it sits clear of headboards and furniture, and the 120mm height keeps the profile compact. The built-in switch is particularly useful in bedrooms where reaching a pull cord or wall switch across the room is inconvenient.
The optical glass blocks are the primary visual feature when the light is on, casting fragmented reflections and light scatter that change depending on viewing angle. The polished chrome frame provides a high-gloss metallic accent that pairs with modern and contemporary interiors using chrome taps, door handles and other fittings. The sinuous curved arms holding each glass block give the fitting movement and soften the otherwise geometric shape.
At 2.1kg the Kromo needs secure fixing into a solid wall or a cavity wall with appropriate fixings rated for the weight. The fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer on the circuit.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does it take?
The Kromo takes two G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with G9 LED bulbs between 2-4W each, typically in warm white (2700K-3000K) for bedroom or living room use.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, when fitted with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and connected to a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit. The built-in rocker switch on the backplate is an on/off switch only and does not control dimming.
What does the built-in switch do?
The rocker switch on the backplate turns the light on and off at the wall, useful in bedrooms where you want to control bedside lighting without reaching for a separate wall switch or pull cord.
What wall fixing is needed?
At 2.1kg the Kromo needs secure wall fixings. On solid brick or block walls, standard wall plugs and screws are sufficient. On plasterboard cavity walls, use heavy-duty cavity fixings rated for at least 3kg per fixing point.
