The Kromo is a single pendant light built around a faceted block of clear optical glass set inside an eye-shaped antique brass frame. The brass frame forms an elongated oval outline with two horizontal arms extending from either side, creating a suspended lens effect. A single G9 bulb (sold separately) sits at the centre of the glass block, and the faceted surfaces refract the light into multiple angles as it passes through.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls, the Kromo works in spaces where a single pendant provides both task and decorative light without overwhelming the room. The 240mm width suits tables of 1.2-1.8m length, and the adjustable drop from 180mm to 2m allows the pendant to be positioned 700-900mm above the surface depending on ceiling height. The optical glass is cut with multiple flat facets across its surface, which act as individual prisms when the bulb is lit, scattering light across adjacent surfaces and creating a more dynamic pattern than a smooth glass shade. The Kromo takes a single G9 capsule bulb, sold separately. Most users pair this with a dimmable G9 LED between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light. The G9 socket is a push-fit capsule base common in contemporary European lighting.

Is the Kromo dimmable?

Yes, provided you use a dimmable G9 bulb and pair it with a compatible LED dimmer switch. The pendant itself does not restrict dimming — dimmer compatibility depends on the specific bulb and dimmer model chosen.

What table size does it suit?

The 240mm width works well over dining tables of 1.2-1.8m length, typically hung 700-900mm above the table surface. For larger tables or kitchen islands beyond 1.8m, consider pairing two Kromo pendants spaced along the length.

How is the faceted glass cleaned?

The optical glass facets collect dust in the recesses between flat surfaces. Wipe gently with a dry microfibre cloth, or use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water for fingerprints. Avoid spray cleaners, which leave residue in the facet joints and dull the refraction effect.
