Description

The Kriss is a 24cm diameter cylindrical glass pendant light with a smoked black outer shade and a reflective metallic inner funnel that directs light downwards through the GU10 fitting. The double-layer glass construction creates visual depth when lit, with the smoked outer glass softening the light spread while the inner funnel concentrates the beam.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and bar counters where directed task lighting is needed, the Kriss hangs on an adjustable cable with a drop range of 400-1800mm. This allows the pendant to be set 600-800mm above a worktop or dining surface depending on ceiling height. The 240mm diameter keeps the visual footprint compact enough for use in multiples — three Kriss pendants spaced evenly along a 2.4m island create balanced coverage without crowding the sightline.

The smoked black glass gives the pendant a recessive appearance when switched off, making it less visually dominant in light-filled daytime interiors. When lit, the inner funnel reflects warm or cool light depending on the GU10 bulb chosen (sold separately), and the smoked glass reduces glare at eye level.
