Description
The Kos is a 1.6m tall crystal floor lamp built around a cylindrical column of faceted octagon crystals set in a French gold metal frame. Four G9 bulbs sit inside the crystal column (bulbs sold separately), casting light through the faceted glass so the crystals themselves act as both shade and decorative element. The French gold finish runs across the circular base, central stem and the vertical framework holding the crystals in place.
Designed for living rooms, hallway corners and bedrooms where ambient and decorative lighting overlap, the Kos adds both illumination and a vertical accent to the room. The 300mm diameter footprint makes it suitable for placement next to a sofa, in the corner of a reading nook, or beside an entryway console. The 1.6m height positions the crystal column at standing eye level, so the refracted light becomes a feature of the room even when the lamp is switched off.
The faceted octagon crystals are hand-set into the frame, giving each piece slight variation in how light refracts through the column when lit. The French gold finish sits warmer in tone than polished brass or standard gold plate, pairing well with warm greys, creams and traditional interiors. The lamp accepts four G9 capsule bulbs up to 33W each, with dimming available when paired with dimmable G9 LEDs and a compatible dimmer switch. Total weight of 5.84kg gives the lamp a stable presence on carpet and hard floors without needing additional anchoring.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Kos require?
The lamp takes four G9 capsule bulbs up to 33W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with 3-5W warm-white G9 LEDs at 2700K-3000K to keep the light warm-toned and the running cost low.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, when fitted with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and connected to a compatible LED dimmer switch. The dimmer must be rated for LED loads — older incandescent dimmers may cause flicker or not dim at all.
How is the crystal cleaned?
Switch off and allow to cool. Wipe each crystal with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or residue, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water. Avoid household sprays, as these can leave streaks on faceted glass.
Is the lamp stable on carpet?
The 5.84kg weight and 300mm circular base give stability on both hard floors and short-pile carpet. On thick or shag carpet, position the lamp where it's less likely to be knocked, as the taller height increases leverage if bumped.
