Made from solid oak and polyester, our Komorebi Rectangular Lampshade is built around a series of parallel vertical wooden dowels set in a neat rectangular arrangement. We chose this open construction so that light passes between the slats rather than being held behind a solid panel, casting soft lines and gentle shadows as it filters through. The Dark Oak finish gives the timber a deeper, warmer tone, and we like how the grain reads across each individual dowel. It is a considered piece that brings a natural material into a lighting fixture without shouting for attention.
