Made from solid oak and polyester, our Komorebi Rectangular Lampshade Large is built around a run of parallel vertical wooden dowels set into a neat rectangular arrangement. We chose this open construction because it lets light filter through the gaps between each dowel, casting soft lines across nearby walls and surfaces rather than shutting the glow away behind a solid panel. Finished in a warm Dark Oak, the shade carries the natural grain of the wood and brings a grounded, tactile quality to the fittings we range it for.

This is the Large size, measuring 26cm in height, 33cm in width and 20.7cm in depth, and weighing 1.6kg. It works as both a pendant and a table lampshade, so you can hang it above a dining table or kitchen island, or pair it with a suitable base on a sideboard or desk. It is compatible with E27 fittings, and we recommend a max 15W LED bulb, which is not included so you can match the warmth and brightness to your room. The rectangular footprint suits longer surfaces and narrower alcoves where a round shade would feel out of place, and the vertical dowels keep the overall look calm and orderly.
