Description

The Kolt is a 533mm 3-light bathroom wall light built around a polished chrome bar with three dual-glass cylindrical shades spaced evenly along its length. Each shade consists of an inner frosted glass cylinder that diffuses the light from a 3W G9 LED bulb, surrounded by a larger clear glass outer cylinder that adds depth and allows the light to project into the room. All three bulbs are included, rated at 3W each and 3000K warm white.

Designed for installation above bathroom mirrors or in en-suite bathrooms where IP44-rated fittings are required, the Kolt provides even, shadow-free illumination across a typical 90-120cm mirror width. The IP44 rating protects against water splashes, making the fitting suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3. The polished chrome finish reflects ambient light and pairs with modern chrome taps, shower fittings and bathroom accessories.

The dual-glass construction serves both function and appearance: the inner frosted cylinder softens the LED point source to reduce glare when viewed directly in the mirror, while the outer clear glass protects the frosted shade and creates a layered visual effect when the light is on. The 165mm projection from the wall positions the shades forward of most mirrors without obstructing head clearance. At 533mm wide, the fitting spans enough horizontal distance to light a double basin or a large single mirror evenly.

Are the LED bulbs replaceable?

Yes. The fitting uses standard G9 LED bulbs rated at 3W each. Replacement bulbs are widely available and can be changed by unscrewing the outer clear glass cylinder to access the inner frosted shade and bulb.

What bathroom zones is it suitable for?

The IP44 rating makes the Kolt suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3, which cover areas outside the immediate shower enclosure but still subject to occasional water splashes. It is not rated for use directly inside a shower cubicle (zone 1).

What width mirror does this suit?

The 533mm width suits mirrors between 90cm and 120cm wide. For narrower mirrors under 80cm, the fitting may overhang the mirror edges. For mirrors over 140cm, consider using two fittings or a longer model from the Kolt range.

Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?

No. The Kolt is designed for vertical wall mounting only. The horizontal chrome bar and glass shades rely on gravity to sit correctly and cannot be installed on angled or sloped surfaces.
