The Kolt is a 2-light bathroom wall light with two dual-layer glass shades mounted on a polished chrome backplate. Each shade consists of an inner sand-blasted glass cylinder surrounded by an outer clear glass sleeve, creating a layered diffusion effect. The fitting includes two 3W LED G9 bulbs at 3000K, providing warm white light suitable for grooming tasks.

Designed for bathroom installation above or alongside mirrors, the Kolt carries an IP44 rating, making it suitable for zones 2 and 3 where moisture is present but direct water jets are unlikely. The 331mm width and 165mm projection from the wall suit bathrooms where horizontal spread is needed without deep intrusion into the room. The polished chrome finish reflects ambient light and pairs with chrome taps, heated towel rails and other metallic bathroom fixtures.

The dual-layer glass construction softens the light output while maintaining clarity. What bathroom zones is the Kolt suitable for?

The IP44 rating makes the Kolt suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3, which cover areas beyond 60cm from a bath or shower where water splashes may occur but direct jets are unlikely. It is not rated for zone 0 (inside a bath or shower) or zone 1 (directly above a bath or shower).

Are the bulbs included?

Yes. The Kolt comes with two 3W LED G9 bulbs at 3000K warm white. These are integrated into the purchase and do not need to be ordered separately.

Can the bulbs be replaced?

Yes. The G9 bulbs are replaceable. Any standard G9 LED bulb up to 3W will fit, allowing you to change the colour temperature or replace failed bulbs without replacing the entire fitting.

How is the glass cleaned?

The outer clear glass can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth and standard glass cleaner. The inner sand-blasted glass is best cleaned by removing the outer sleeve (if the design allows for disassembly) and wiping with a dry or barely-damp cloth to avoid water marks on the frosted surface.
