Description

The Knot II is a chrome LED wall light built around a continuous clover-shaped loop of opal white acrylic, backlit by an integrated 12W LED running at 3000K warm white. The loop design creates the visual effect of a single bent tube, though the light source is distributed around the full circumference to give even illumination across the entire acrylic surface. The fitting measures 300mm high by 200mm wide, with a 190mm projection from the wall.

Designed as ambient lighting rather than task lighting, the Knot II suits hallways, bedrooms, living room accent walls and landings where the 900lm output provides background illumination without glare. The 120° beam angle spreads the light widely from the acrylic surface, which acts as a diffuser rather than a directional spotlight. The polished chrome backplate and visible chrome sections of the loop frame add reflective accents under daylight and other room lighting.

The clover loop configuration gives the fitting a sculptural presence on the wall, sitting somewhere between decorative and functional. The opal acrylic diffuses the LED strip completely, so no individual diodes are visible when lit. At 0.75kg the fitting is light enough to mount on plasterboard with appropriate fixings, and the integrated LED removes the need for bulb replacement over the typical lifespan of the fitting.

The Knot II is made in Spain as part of a wider range of modern LED wall lights. The fitting is not dimmable and runs on standard 220-240V mains without needing a separate driver or transformer visible outside the wall cavity.
