The Knot is a 76cm LED suspension light built around three intertwined curved tubes in gloss black polycarbonate with polished chrome detailing. Designed by Santiago Sevillano for Mantra, the fitting uses looping geometry to create a sculptural centrepiece that appears to twist through space, with integrated LEDs hidden within the curves to cast light both outward and downward.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above, the Knot delivers 3600 lumens of 3000K warm white light from a 36W LED system. The 760mm width suits tables 1.6-2.0m long or islands up to 2.4m, and the drop is adjustable between 250mm and 1500mm on installation to match ceiling height and desired clearance above the surface. The chrome canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and the cable run is concealed within the suspension wires.

The gloss black finish on the polycarbonate tubes provides depth and contrast against the polished chrome accents at the joints and tube ends, creating a visual rhythm as the fixture is viewed from different angles. The combined weight of 3.6kg gives the fitting physical presence without requiring additional ceiling bracing in most residential installations. The LED modules are integrated and non-replaceable, rated for approximately 25,000 hours of operation. The fitting is not dimmable.

The LED modules are integrated into the polycarbonate tubes and are not user-replaceable. Mantra rates the LEDs for approximately 25,000 hours of operation, equivalent to roughly 10-15 years of typical residential use. The fitting carries a 3-year warranty covering LED failure.
