Description
The Knightsbridge 24V LED strip light delivers 500 lumens per metre of 3000K warm white light from 60 x 2835 SMD LEDs per metre along a 5m flexible silicone strip. The strip measures 8mm wide and 1.2mm thick, with 3M self-adhesive backing tape pre-applied to the reverse for mounting onto clean, dry surfaces. The 24V DC supply requires a separate constant voltage driver (sold separately), and the strip is dimmable when paired with compatible control gear.
Designed for under-cabinet lighting, cove lighting, alcove illumination and indirect architectural lighting in residential and commercial interiors, the strip can be cut to length at marked 100mm intervals to fit specific run lengths. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only — kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, retail displays, reception areas and corridors. The 4.8W per metre power draw keeps running costs low while the 107.6lm/W efficacy provides usable light levels without excessive heat.
Each 5m reel can be extended up to a maximum 20m run length when wired in series with additional reels and appropriate cabling. The warm white 3000K colour temperature pairs with traditional, contemporary and hospitality interiors where cooler daylight tones would feel clinical. The 120-degree beam angle provides broad wash light rather than focused spots, making the strip suitable for ambient and task lighting rather than accent lighting. Knightsbridge produces a full range of compatible drivers, controllers, connectors and aluminium profiles (all sold separately) to pair with this strip.

Frequently Asked
Can this LED strip be cut to length?
Yes. The strip has marked cut points every 100mm along its length. Cut only at these marked points to avoid damaging the circuit. Once cut, the strip cannot be rejoined without soldering or using compatible connectors.
What driver is needed?
A 24V DC constant voltage driver is required. For a 5m reel at 4.8W per metre, the total load is 24W, so a driver rated at 30W or higher is recommended to allow headroom. Knightsbridge produces compatible drivers sold separately.
Is the strip dimmable?
Yes, when paired with a dimmable 24V driver or a compatible LED dimmer controller. The strip itself does not include dimming circuitry — dimming control comes from the driver or an inline controller.
Can multiple reels be connected together?
Yes, up to a maximum 20m run length. Beyond 20m, voltage drop causes uneven brightness along the strip. For runs longer than 20m, wire additional sections in parallel from the driver rather than extending the series run.
