Description

The Knightsbridge FLPA150D is a 150W LED floodlight delivering 14,970 lumens of 6000K daylight-white light through a clear glass diffuser set in a die-cast aluminium body rated to IP65. The integrated SMD LED array produces a 105-degree beam spread, making it suitable for area lighting, security applications and high-level illumination in commercial, retail and domestic settings.

Designed for wall or ground mounting on building exteriors, car parks, loading bays, sports courts and large gardens, the floodlight's IP65 rating protects the internals from dust ingress and water jets from any direction. The rear-mounted internal terminal block allows for direct mains wiring without needing a separate junction box, and the unit is compatible with LED-rated external PIR sensors where motion-activated security lighting is required.

The die-cast aluminium construction in an anthracite finish provides durability against weather exposure and impact, while the high-output reflector behind the LED array maximises forward throw and minimises wasted upward spill. At 104 lumens per watt, the floodlight's efficacy reduces running costs compared to older metal halide or halogen equivalents, and the 54,000-hour L70B50 rating means the LED maintains at least 70% of its original brightness for approximately six years of continuous operation.

The 360mm width and 237mm height give the floodlight a substantial presence without being unwieldy on typical brick or rendered walls. The 200mm projection from the wall surface includes the adjustable mounting bracket, which allows the beam angle to be tilted up or down after installation to direct light onto specific zones.

Yes. The FLPA150D is compatible with LED-rated external PIR sensors. The sensor must be rated for LED loads and wired between the mains supply and the floodlight's terminal block. Check the sensor's maximum load rating covers 150W.

IP65 rating means the floodlight is fully protected against dust ingress and can withstand water jets from any direction. This makes it suitable for exposed outdoor installation in rain, snow and coastal environments, though the terminals must be correctly sealed during installation.

Is the beam angle adjustable?
