Description

The Klara is a 46cm 3-light chandelier built around curved antique brass arms that extend from a central brass sphere, each terminating in an opal white glass goblet. The three G9 bulbs (included) sit inside the opal glass, which diffuses the light output evenly and reduces glare. The antique brass finish shows tonal variation and a slightly aged patina that differentiates it from polished or brushed brass.

Designed for dining rooms, sitting rooms, bedrooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Klara works as both ambient lighting for a 10-12m² space and as a feature piece above a small dining table or in a hallway. The 410mm drop from ceiling to base allows it to sit comfortably in standard-height rooms without overwhelming the vertical space. The fixture is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

The curved arms and central sphere give the Klara a symmetrical, balanced appearance that pairs well with classical, traditional and transitional interiors. The opal white glass is mouth-blown, so individual shades show slight variation in thickness and tone when lit. Are the bulbs included?

Yes. The Klara ships with three G9 bulbs fitted. These are halogen bulbs rated at 40W each. You can replace them with G9 LED bulbs (typically 3-5W) for lower running costs and longer lifespan.

Is the Klara dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable G9 bulbs and connected to a compatible dimmer switch. The included halogen bulbs are dimmable. If you replace them with LED bulbs, check that the LED model is marked as dimmable before pairing with a dimmer.

What ceiling height does it need?

The 410mm drop suits ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In lower-ceiling rooms the chandelier may hang too close to head height, particularly if positioned above a dining table or in a circulation route.

How is the opal glass cleaned?

Switch off at the mains and allow the bulbs to cool. Remove each glass goblet (they typically lift off the brass arm) and wash in warm soapy water. Dry thoroughly before refitting. Wipe the brass frame with a soft dry cloth — avoid abrasive cleaners that can strip the antique finish.
