Description

The Klampenborg is a 337mm outdoor pedestal light with an integrated PIR motion sensor, built from 304-grade stainless steel with a black powder-coated finish. A clear glass cylinder surrounds the E27 bulb fitting, topped by a wide conical shade that directs light downward while the PIR sensor beneath the shade detects motion in a 120-degree arc up to approximately 8 metres.

Designed for front paths, driveways, gate posts and low garden walls, the Klampenborg activates only when motion is detected, providing security lighting without running continuously through the night. The 275mm shade diameter gives enough coverage to light a path width of 1-1.5 metres when mounted at typical pedestal height, while the IP44 rating protects the internals from rain and splashing water. The sensor sensitivity and duration are typically adjustable via controls on the lamp holder assembly.

The 304 stainless steel construction resists corrosion in coastal and damp environments better than mild steel alternatives, while the powder-coated black finish hides fingerprints and weathering. The pedestal mounts onto a flat post cap or pier via a base plate with fixing holes, and requires standard UK mains wiring to an E27 lamp holder inside the glass cylinder.
