The Kitesurf Loop is a 1240mm LED linear pendant light combining two horizontal frosted LED bars with a 400mm diameter circular ring element, all finished in matt black. The integrated 50W LED module delivers 4000 lumens at 3000K through the frosted diffusers, creating a balanced composition of line and loop that functions as both task and feature lighting.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and open-plan living spaces, the Kitesurf Loop works best above surfaces where its 1240mm span can be appreciated without obstruction. The adjustable drop from 450mm to 1500mm allows positioning 700-900mm above a worktop or dining table depending on ceiling height. The dimmable LED is controlled via a compatible trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer (not included), allowing output to be reduced from full brightness to a softer ambient level.

The matt black powder-coated aluminium frame provides a low-reflective finish that sits comfortably in monochrome, industrial and contemporary interiors. What dimmer is needed?

The Kitesurf Loop requires a trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer compatible with LED loads. The specification does not state a minimum load requirement, so confirm compatibility with your dimmer manufacturer before installation. Incompatible dimmers may cause flickering or limited dimming range.

What span does the 1240mm length suit?

The 1240mm overall length works well above kitchen islands or dining tables between 1.6m and 2.4m long. For islands shorter than 1.6m the fitting may visually dominate; for tables longer than 2.4m consider pairing two Kitesurf Loops in series or choosing a longer linear fixture.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The suspension cables allow the drop to be set anywhere between 450mm and 1500mm during installation. Once installed, the drop can be adjusted by loosening the cable grips in the ceiling canopy, but this requires access to the ceiling rose and may need the power to be isolated.

Is the circular element purely decorative?

No. The circular ring contains frosted diffuser material and is part of the overall light distribution. Both the horizontal bars and the circular loop emit light, contributing to the total 4000 lumen output.
