Description

The Kilda is a 9.5cm spherical LED pendant light built from brushed gold metal with a black cylindrical ceiling canopy. An integrated 10W LED inside the sphere casts 800 lumens of 3000K warm white light through a frosted lower hemisphere diffuser, creating a balanced blend of directional downlight and ambient glow from the metallic upper dome.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, bathroom vanities and hallway lighting, the Kilda works individually as accent lighting over a small table or in multiples along a linear run. The 2500mm maximum drop allows installation in standard 2.4m ceiling heights down to double-height spaces, with the minimum 210mm drop suiting lower ceilings or recessed applications. The 95mm diameter keeps the pendant compact enough for tight spacing without visual clutter.

The brushed gold finish on the metal sphere provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with brass taps, cabinet handles and warm-toned interiors without the high reflectivity of polished metals. The frosted lower hemisphere diffuses the LED source to avoid visible hotspots, while the black canopy and cable create a visual pause between the pendant and the ceiling plane. At 0.65kg, the pendant installs on standard UK ceiling roses without additional structural support.
