Description

The Kilda is a 95mm diameter recessed LED pendant light with a cylindrical white metal housing and an integrated 10W 3000K LED producing 800 lumens. The fitting sits partially recessed into the ceiling through a 50mm cut-out, with the visible lower section projecting below the ceiling line as a white cylinder suspending a spherical diffuser on a narrow cable.

Designed for ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Kilda suits hallways, entrance areas and kitchens where a compact downward-focused light source is needed without the visual bulk of a traditional pendant. The recessed upper section reduces ceiling clutter while the suspended lower section directs light downwards in a controlled beam. The adjustable cable allows drop lengths between 140mm and 2500mm, making it adaptable to standard residential ceiling heights or double-height spaces.

The white powder-coated metal finish on the housing and cylindrical body gives a clean, neutral appearance that pairs with modern and minimalist interiors. No. The integrated 10W LED is not compatible with dimmer switches and should be installed on a standard on/off circuit.

What ceiling void depth is needed?

The recessed section requires a 50mm cut-out and ceiling void access to house the driver unit and cable connection. The exact void depth depends on the driver size, but 100mm void clearance is typically sufficient for installation.

Can the drop length be adjusted after installation?
