The Kelso Check is a traditional rug in Sage Green, a soft, muted green set with a classic check of cream and darker grey lines. Broad squares of green are crossed by bands of fine stripes, so the pattern reads clearly from across the room yet never feels busy. It is machine woven from 100% polypropylene, and its surface has real texture, with the lines of the check sitting in relief against the fuller blocks of colour.

Sage green and cream sit comfortably with natural wood floors, pale walls and grey or neutral upholstery, which makes this check rug an easy choice for a living room or a bedroom with a traditional or country feel. We sell it in three sizes. The 80 by 150cm rug suits a smaller space, beside a bed or in front of a fireside chair. The 120 by 170cm size sits well in front of a sofa or under a coffee table, and the 160 by 230cm rug is large enough to anchor a seating area or sit under the lower half of a double bed.
