Description

The Kazz is a 500mm diameter round pendant light with a shallow matt black metal dome suspended from a cable and circular ceiling rose. The underside of the dome houses six E27 lamp sockets behind a white circular diffuser that sits flush with the rim. The diffuser spreads light downward and outward, turning the pendant into both a task light and an ambient source depending on the bulbs fitted.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living areas where a single large pendant replaces multiple smaller fittings, the Kazz sits 700-900mm above a worktop or table surface when installed at typical drop lengths. The adjustable cable allows drops from 150mm minimum to 1650mm maximum, making the pendant compatible with ceiling heights from 2.4m up to vaulted spaces. The 500mm diameter covers a table width of 1200-1600mm without overwhelming smaller circular tables of 900-1000mm diameter.

The matt black finish on the dome absorbs reflections and creates a defined silhouette against white ceilings and lighter walls, while the white diffuser provides contrast when the pendant is viewed from below. The shallow dome profile, approximately 100mm deep, keeps the visual weight low despite the 500mm width, preventing the pendant from dominating rooms with standard 2.4-2.7m ceiling heights. At 2.3kg the fitting requires secure fixing to a joist or ceiling rose rated for the combined weight of the pendant and six bulbs.

No lamps are fitted, so six E27 bulbs are chosen separately to set output and colour temperature. Dimming works when dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer are combined on the circuit.

What bulbs does the Kazz take?

The pendant takes six E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. We suggest pairing this with six warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W each and 2700K-3000K colour temperature for dining and kitchen island lighting. The combined wattage of all six bulbs should not exceed the rating on the ceiling rose.

Is the Kazz dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable E27 bulbs and pair the circuit with a compatible dimmer switch. LED bulbs vary in dimmer compatibility, so check the bulb packaging before installation.

What table size does the 500mm diameter suit?

The 500mm diameter works over dining tables from 1200-1600mm wide and circular tables of 900-1000mm diameter. For larger tables (1800mm+) consider pairing two Kazz pendants or choosing a larger pendant from the range.
