Description

Kasuri is a modern rug in the Honey colourway, and its appeal is in the softness of its pattern. Columns of long, tapering diamond shapes run the length of the rug on a cream ground, each one shaded in a warm honey beige that fades out at the edges, so the design looks gently blurred rather than sharply drawn. A fine line runs through each column, linking point to point, and a narrow honey border frames the whole piece. Its light, warm palette sits easily with wood floors.

We offer it in five sizes. The 61 by 230cm runner suits a hallway or landing, where the vertical rhythm of the pattern draws the eye along the floor. The 76 by 150cm size works beside a bed or in front of a fireplace, while 120 by 170cm sits well in front of a sofa in a smaller living room. For larger spaces, 152 by 230cm and 185 by 290cm give room for a sofa, chairs or a bed to rest their front feet on the rug.

Because the ground is pale cream, it is at its best in rooms where shoes tend to come off at the door, and a runner in a busy hallway will want a little more attention than a rug in a quiet sitting room.
