Description

This is a set of three round recessed LED downlights in black, each with an aluminium body and a tilting head that lets you angle the light where it is needed. Each downlight is 8.8cm in diameter and needs a cut-out 6.8cm wide and 4.2cm of depth in the ceiling, so it suits shallow voids where deeper spotlights will not fit. The LED is integrated, drawing 6W per light and giving 600lm each at 4000K, a cool light that keeps colours crisp and clear. They are rated IP20, which settles where they go: indoor rooms that stay dry, never a bathroom or outdoors.

Because the heads tilt, a run of three can wash a wall of framed artwork, pick out shelving or light a worktop rather than simply lighting the floor. Black trims give a crisp, graphic contrast on white plaster and look at home on darker painted ceilings too. Cool white at 4000K is a good choice for kitchens, studies, home offices and utility rooms, wherever you want clear light for reading, cooking or close work. Each body is aluminium in a black finish, and the light is integrated, so there is no separate bulb to buy.
