The Kamarne is a fixed LED downlight in white, a slim round fitting made to sit in the ceiling. The body is aluminium, finished in white, and it measures 8.8cm across and 4.2cm tall, so only a neat white ring shows once it is fitted. The LED is integrated, drawing 6W and giving 450lm at a colour temperature of 4000K, a clean neutral white that suits rooms where you want to see clearly. It is rated IP20, which means it is for dry rooms indoors, not bathrooms or outdoor spaces.

Downlights like this work best in groups, laid out across a kitchen ceiling, along a hallway or over a desk in a home office, where an even spread of light matters more than a single pendant. Because it is dimmable, the same ceiling can go from bright and practical while you cook to something softer in the evening, when it is paired with a suitable dimmer switch. It has no switch of its own and is turned on and off at the wall switch. As a fixed downlight it points straight down rather than tilting, which keeps the light where you planned it.

Inside the white ring, a faceted reflector surrounds the LED and spreads its light, and spring clips hold the fitting firmly against the ceiling. Before buying, check the space overhead: the ceiling needs a 6.8cm cut-out and a recess depth of 5cm.
