The Kalmelle 3 Light Pendant gathers three tapered wire cages into one cluster, each hanging on its own black cable from a round ceiling canopy. The frame is steel in a black finish, and the open wirework keeps each bulb in view, so the lamp itself becomes part of the look. Overall the pendant is 130cm tall and 38cm in diameter. Each cage takes an E27 bulb of up to 60W, three in all, and the bulbs are not included, which leaves the choice of warmth and style to you. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in a dry room.

Because the three shades hang at staggered heights, the cluster suits a stairwell, a hallway with a tall ceiling, or the space over a dining table or kitchen island, where it gives light from several points instead of one. A black wire cage sits comfortably in an industrial or pared-back scheme, and against pale walls its outline reads clearly.
