Description

The Jewel is a 250mm circular LED wall light with a gold painted finish and an integrated 12W LED producing 750 lumens at 3000K warm white. The circular diffuser casts light outwards in a 120° beam angle, creating a halo effect that illuminates the wall surface around the fitting while the central disc remains visually solid.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and staircases where accent lighting is needed without a deep projection into the room, the Jewel's 42mm shallow profile sits close to the wall and works on narrow hallways or above beds where headroom matters. The gold painted finish pairs with brass hardware, warm-toned timber joinery and contemporary interiors using mustard, ochre or rust accent colours. The halo effect works particularly well on textured plaster or feature walls where the light picks up surface detail.

The 12W LED is non-dimmable and rated for 750 lumens, roughly equivalent to a 60W incandescent bulb but concentrated into a directional wash rather than omni-directional room fill. The circular form and shallow depth mean the Jewel can be fitted in multiples along a corridor or stairwell to build rhythm, or used as a pair flanking a headboard or artwork. The gold painted metal finish shows slight tonal variation under different lighting conditions, appearing warmer under tungsten and cooler under daylight.

No. The integrated LED is rated at 12W on 220-240V mains and does not support dimming. The light level is fixed at 750 lumens.

How is the halo effect created?

The circular diffuser directs light outwards in a 120° beam angle, washing the wall surface around the fitting. The central disc remains visually solid, so the effect is a ring of light rather than full illumination of the fitting itself.

What wall surface works best?

The halo effect is most visible on smooth or lightly textured plaster in white, off-white or pale neutral tones. On dark walls the effect is softer. On heavily textured surfaces the light picks up the surface detail and creates shadow play.

Can multiple Jewel lights be installed in a row?

Yes. The 250mm diameter and 42mm shallow projection make the Jewel well-suited to multiples along corridors or staircases. Typical spacing is 600-900mm centres depending on ceiling height and desired overlap of the halo effects.
