Description

The Jelvine is a dome-shaped pendant light in white steel. Its shade is built from triangular panels with narrow cut-outs running between them, so the surface reads as a faceted geometric pattern. The shade is 40cm across and the whole light is 110cm in overall height, hanging from a white ceiling rose. It takes an E27 bulb of up to 60W, and the bulb is not included, which leaves the choice of warm or cool light with you. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms, and never outdoors or in a bathroom.

At 40cm across, it has enough presence to hang over a dining table or a kitchen island, or to sit at the centre of a living room or bedroom ceiling. The white finish keeps it light on the eye against pale walls, while the faceted dome gives a plain room some shape and pattern. It suits anyone who wants a pendant with character that still sits comfortably in contemporary and pared-back interiors.
