The Jellicoe is a four-armed candle holder made from metal and finished in black. Four slim, upright arms rise from a cross-shaped base, and each one ends in a neat cylindrical cup that holds a candle upright. It measures 20cm long, 21cm wide and 14cm high, so the candles you choose set the final height of the arrangement: tall ones for a formal table, or shorter ones so everyone can still see across it. With an arm at each end of the cross, the candles stand well apart, so each flame is clear from any side of the table.

Because it reads well from every side, it suits the centre of a dining table, a coffee table or a long sideboard, and it works just as well on a deep windowsill or a mantelpiece.
