Description

The Jellicoe Candlestick is a low, round candle holder in gold aluminium, shaped as a short open cup with a flat, rounded tab standing out from one side. It measures 6cm long, 4.8cm wide and just 2.5cm high, so it sits close to the surface and lets the candle take the attention. The gold has a soft, brushed look rather than a mirror shine, and fine turned rings run round the inside of the cup. At 0.04KG it weighs next to nothing in the hand.

Because it is so low and compact, this gold candlestick is at home on a dining table, a sideboard, a mantelpiece, a shelf or a bedside table, and it tucks neatly between plates and glasses when friends come round for dinner. Its light weight makes it easy to carry from the kitchen to the dining room. Set several in a row along a table or a mantelpiece for a warm, gently flickering line once the candles are lit.
