Description

The Jack-Stone is a 790mm wall light from Maytoni featuring three organic stainless steel elements arranged asymmetrically across a horizontal mounting plate. Each element has a rounded, pebble-inspired form finished in a combination of polished and brushed nickel, with the polished sections reflecting light and the brushed sections creating tonal contrast. An integrated 13W 3000K LED inside each element casts warm indirect light against the wall and upwards.

Designed for feature wall positions in bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and hospitality interiors, the Jack-Stone acts as both ambient light source and sculptural accent. The 790mm width suits walls adjacent to bed headboards, alongside sofas, or in entrance halls with 2.5m+ wall runs. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor spaces. The asymmetric arrangement of the three elements gives a dynamic composition that reads differently from various viewing angles.

The stainless steel construction resists tarnishing and the dual-finish nickel treatment adds depth to each element — polished areas catch and reflect room light during the day, while brushed areas soften reflections. The combined 13W output from the integrated LED provides functional ambient light without needing separate bulbs. The fixture projects approximately 74mm from the wall once mounted and requires a standard UK wiring back box with live, neutral and earth connections.

Is the Jack-Stone dimmable?

The integrated LED runs on standard 220-240V AC mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer module used — consult the product manual or contact us to confirm compatibility before pairing with a dimmer switch.

What wall width is needed for installation?

The fitting spans 790mm horizontally, so it suits wall sections of at least 900mm clear width to avoid the edges sitting too close to corners or adjacent architectural features. A typical bedroom wall above a king-size bed or a hallway feature wall provides adequate space.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the Jack-Stone is suitable for dry indoor spaces only. It is not rated for bathroom zones or any area where water splash or moisture is present.

How is the nickel finish maintained?

Wipe the stainless steel elements with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints on the polished sections, a slightly damp cloth followed by immediate drying prevents water marks. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishes that could scratch the brushed finish.
