Description

The Knightsbridge JB003 is a 3-way 3-pole cable connector rated IP68 for outdoor and underwater electrical installations, carrying 16A at 450V and tested to 2 bar submersion depth. The connector joins three cables via screw-fix terminals inside a sealed black housing, allowing repairs, extensions and junction points in garden lighting, pond pumps, outdoor security systems and other weatherproof circuits.

Designed for permanent outdoor installation, the connector accepts cable diameters from 5mm to 14mm and is compatible with H07RNF 3G cable from 0.75mm² to 4.0mm² cross-section. The housing is manufactured from PA99 UL94-V0 flame-retardant nylon with silicon sealing gaskets around each cable entry point, preventing water ingress when the glands are correctly tightened. The copper terminals are nickel-plated to resist corrosion in damp environments.

The three cable entries sit at equal angles around the central junction chamber, creating a T-junction configuration where one supply cable feeds two outgoing cables, or a straight-through junction where three cables meet at a common point. Each gland screws down independently to compress the silicon gasket against the cable sheath, creating the IP68 seal. The housing measures 82mm wide by 94mm long and sits 32mm high when assembled.
