Description

This Knightsbridge IP68 cable connector provides a waterproof 3-pole plug and socket pair rated to IP68 at 2 bar submersion depth, designed for outdoor lighting circuits, pond pumps, and garden electrical installations that require weatherproof or underwater connections. The connector handles 16A at 450V and accepts cable diameters from 5mm to 12mm through M22 cable glands.

The connector pair allows outdoor cables to be extended or repaired without exposing live terminals to moisture. Both plug and socket use screw-fix terminals with silver-plated copper contacts inside a polycarbonate and PA66 casing, sealed with silicone gaskets. Once mated and the cable glands tightened, the assembly provides continuous IP68 protection even when fully submerged, making it suitable for pond lighting, underwater pumps, and outdoor fixtures in areas prone to flooding or heavy rain.

The 24mm diameter and 94mm overall length of each connector allows it to be buried in conduit or left exposed in outdoor applications. The black PA66 V-0 rated casing resists UV degradation and maintains integrity in temperatures from -25°C to +60°C. Each connector is certified to EN 62444 and designed for use with H07RNF 3G cable from 0.75mm² to 2.5mm² cross-section.
