Description

The Illusis is a 405mm semi-flush ceiling light with eight G9 bulb fittings arranged across a circular white metal canopy, each supporting multiple clear and frosted glass spheres suspended on transparent nylon threads. The spheres cascade at varying heights below the canopy, creating depth and movement across the face of the fitting when lit.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights, the Illusis sits 200-250mm below the ceiling once fitted, making it more compact than a traditional chandelier drop while still providing a decorative presence. The eight G9 bulbs provide central ambient lighting across a 4-5m room when paired with warm-white LED capsule bulbs. The fitting is dimmable when used with compatible G9 dimmable bulbs and a suitable dimmer switch.

The combination of clear and frosted glass spheres diffuses the light output while the transparent threads holding each sphere remain nearly invisible once the fitting is installed, creating the visual effect of floating glass. The matt white metal frame and canopy provide a neutral base that pairs with white ceilings and both cool and warm interior palettes. Each glass sphere is individually threaded, so the specific positioning and density of the cascade varies slightly between fittings.
