Description

The Illa armchair is an aluminium garden dining armchair with a rounded back of slim upright rods that wraps round to form its arms, set on sled-style steel legs. It comes with a removable seat cushion made in the outdoor fabric you choose. It is 60cm wide, 55cm deep and 74cm high, with a seat height of 46cm, a usual height for sitting at a dining table, and arms at 69cm to rest your elbows on between courses.

Made for outdoor use and resistant to weathering and sunlight, it belongs around a dining table in the garden, on a terrace or patio, or on a balcony where its 60cm width matters. We sell it in fifteen powder-coated frame colours, among them Textured White, Textured Ivory and Stone, and its seat cushion comes in forty-six outdoor fabrics in acrylic, polyolefin and Vinytex, such as Pan White, Wabi Ecru and Pan Bone. Each one is designed and made to order in Barcelona, Spain, in the colour and fabric you pick.

The seat and back are extruded aluminium and the legs are steel with a cataphoresis treatment, all finished in polyester powder coating. The cushion is filled with polyether fibre and foam. Clean the frame regularly with warm water, neutral soap and a non-abrasive sponge or cloth, then rinse well and dry it to avoid water marks. For the fabric, use a damp sponge with a little neutral soap in plenty of water and a soft brush for a stubborn stain, never harsh chemicals; acrylic fabrics wash at 30°C and polyolefin ones are best brushed or vacuumed to lift dust. The design is by Andrés Bluth. As the cushion is removable, it lifts off to be stored dry when the chair is not in use.
