Our Ideal Shaggy rug is a modern design in a soft cream, with a textured pile that gives it a cosy, relaxed look. Fine lines trace a geometric design across the cream: chevrons run in from each side and meet in a cross at the centre, so the pattern reads quietly up close and clearly from across the room. It is machine made from polypropylene and polyester, and the shaggy, textured pile is soft and welcoming underfoot.

We see it most at home in a living room, where a cream rug brightens the floor and sits easily with pale walls, light wood and soft furnishings. It comes in three sizes. The 120 by 170cm rug suits a smaller living room or the space in front of an armchair, the 160 by 230cm size sits well in front of a sofa with a coffee table on top, and the 200 by 290cm rug is large enough to gather a whole seating area, with the front legs of the furniture resting on it.
