Hourglass and Half Moon 3D PVC Wall Panels 50 x 50cm - White

Our Hourglass and Half Moon 3D wall panels bring a soft, geometric rhythm to a plain wall. Each white PVC panel is a 50 x 50cm square divided into four quarters, and every quarter holds a smooth hourglass with a raised half-moon dome tucked into each side of its pinched waist. The hourglasses sit at right angles to their neighbours, alternating between horizontal and vertical like a basket weave, on a flat background with narrow gaps between the forms. The relief is 30mm deep, enough for the rounded shapes to stand clearly proud of the wall and gather soft shadows along their edges.

These panels are made for interior walls in homes, offices, hotels and shops. Run them across one wall of a living room, bedroom or hallway to make a feature wall, or behind a reception desk or a shop counter. The design is geometric but never hard-edged: the curves of the hourglasses and domes catch the light, so a lamp or window to one side picks out every form in highlight and shadow, while light from straight ahead lets the pattern settle into a quieter texture. Because the depth is real rather than printed, the wall changes through the day as the light moves.

Each panel is formed from a 0.8mm PVC sheet, and PVC is waterproof, so the surface wipes clean with a damp cloth and needs little looking after. Fitting needs no special equipment: spread adhesive on the back of a panel, press it onto the wall, cut panels to fit at the edges and fill the joins with filler, wiping it clean as you go. Adhesive and filler are sold separately. When working out how many you need, four panels cover one square metre. For the strongest effect, give them a whole wall to themselves, from skirting to ceiling, and keep the furniture in front simple so the weave has room.

What does the Hourglass and Half Moon pattern look like?
