Description

The Hoop is an 11cm round recessed downlight with a white aluminium and plastic bezel and a GX53 bulb fitting rated at 15W maximum. The fitting sits flush with the ceiling surface once installed, with a 5.3cm recess depth required above the ceiling line to accommodate the back housing and bulb holder.

Designed for low-ceiling rooms where surface-mounted or pendant fittings would intrude on headroom, the Hoop suits kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and office spaces requiring overhead task lighting. The fixed beam angle directs light straight down to illuminate worktops, counters and floor areas directly below the fitting. The GX53 base accepts standard GX53 LED bulbs (sold separately), allowing control over colour temperature and brightness depending on the specific bulb chosen.

The white finish on the visible bezel blends into white or light-coloured ceilings, minimising visual interruption across a ceiling plane when multiple downlights are installed in a grid layout. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations only — it is not suitable for bathrooms within zones 1 or 2, or any outdoor installation. The aluminium construction of the bezel provides durability without adding excessive weight to the ceiling cut-out.
