Description

The Holland is a 4-light linear pendant built around a polished chrome telescopic rod and four frosted tulip-shaped glass shades, each housing a G9 bulb (sold separately). The frame is punctuated by wenge wood accents shaped as curved leaf forms that bracket each tulip shade, adding organic warmth to the polished chrome structure. The telescopic rod adjusts between 500mm and 840mm drop, allowing the fitting to be set at the correct height above a dining table or kitchen island during installation.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and breakfast bars in spaces with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Holland spans 540mm across its length and positions the four light sources evenly along a horizontal axis. The telescopic function means the fitting can be set 700-800mm above a table surface in a 2.4m-height room or extended to 900mm above an island in taller ceilings. Each G9 socket accepts bulbs up to 40W, giving a combined maximum load of 160W across the four arms when using halogen bulbs, or around 16-20W total when fitted with LED equivalents.

The frosted tulip glass diffuses light outwards and downwards, reducing glare while the curved wenge leaf accents introduce a natural material contrast against the reflective chrome. The chrome is polished to a mirror finish that reflects ambient light and adds visual weight to the fitting's 2.6kg presence. The wenge sections are cut from solid wood and finished with a protective seal to preserve the dark grain. Dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

No. The Holland takes four G9 bulbs up to 40W each, sold separately. Most users fit G9 LED bulbs in the 3-5W range with a 2700K-3000K colour temperature for warm dining light.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

The telescopic rod is set during installation and locked in place with a collar. It can be adjusted if the fitting is taken down and re-hung, but is not intended for frequent height changes once fitted.

What table length does the 540mm span suit?

The 540mm length works over dining tables between 1.2m and 1.8m long, or above kitchen islands in a similar range. For tables longer than 1.8m, consider pairing two Holland fittings in sequence or choosing a longer linear pendant.

Is the wenge real wood?

Yes. The curved leaf accents are cut from solid wenge and finished with a protective seal. The natural grain means each piece shows slight variation in tone and figuring.
