Description

The Holborn is a 300mm square flush ceiling light built from solid brass with a polished chrome finish, designed for covered outdoor locations requiring IP44 protection. Four clear bevelled glass panels form a box around two E27 bulb holders (bulbs sold separately, maximum 60W each), allowing light to project downwards and outwards through all sides of the fitting.

Designed for porches, covered terraces, covered entrance canopies and other outdoor areas with ceiling mounting, the Holborn provides ambient downlight while the bevelled glass panels create decorative light patterns on adjacent walls and floors. The IP44 rating protects the internal components against solid objects larger than 1mm and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for locations exposed to rain-driven spray but not direct water jets or submersion. The 165mm height requires a minimum ceiling clearance for fitting the backplate and making cable connections.

The polished chrome finish on the solid brass frame gives a high-sheen reflective surface that pairs with both traditional Georgian-style homes and contemporary properties using metallic accent finishes. The vertical ribbed detailing on the upper and lower frame sections adds texture to what would otherwise be a plain metal box.
