Description

The Holborn is a 300mm square outdoor flush ceiling light in brushed brass with four bevelled glass panels and a railed top section inspired by Georgian lantern design. The fitting houses two E27 bulbs (sold separately) inside the glass enclosure, protected by an IP44 rating that allows installation on covered porches, verandas, entrance canopies and sheltered outdoor areas exposed to rain splash and dust.

Designed for period homes, country cottages and contemporary builds where a traditional aesthetic is required, the Holborn mounts directly to a ceiling rose with a 165mm drop below the mounting point. The four clear bevelled glass panels allow light to spread in all directions while the railed brass sections above the glass provide visual weight and a finished edge detail. The square footprint suits porch ceilings between 1.2m and 2m wide, where a circular flush fitting would look under-scaled.

The solid brass construction is finished in a brushed surface that softens reflections and develops a natural patina over time when exposed to outdoor conditions.
