Each 10W LED head is housed in a retractable gimbal mechanism that allows it to tilt and rotate within the ceiling cavity, enabling directional lighting control without visible movement from below. The combined 20W output delivers 3000K warm white light with a high CRI rating for accurate colour rendering.

Designed for ceiling heights of 2.4-3m, the Hidden Twin suits residential living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and commercial spaces where accent lighting or task illumination needs to be directed at specific points—artwork, architectural features, retail displays or desk surfaces. The rectangular aperture measures 168mm wide by 97mm deep, requiring a ceiling void depth of at least 100mm to accommodate the retractable mechanism and driver housing. Each head can be angled independently, allowing asymmetric lighting patterns across a room.

The white powder-coated aluminium and plastic construction keeps the fitting lightweight at under 1kg, simplifying installation in plasterboard ceilings using the supplied spring-loaded clips. The IP20 rating confines use to dry interior spaces—living areas, bedrooms, offices and retail—but excludes bathrooms, wet rooms and outdoor canopies. The integrated LED modules are non-replaceable but rated for 25,000+ hours of use, equivalent to approximately 10 years at 7 hours per day. What ceiling void depth is required?

The Hidden Twin requires a minimum 100mm ceiling void depth to accommodate the retractable heads, driver housing and spring clips. The rectangular aperture cuts 168mm wide by 97mm deep into the ceiling surface.

Can the LED modules be replaced?

No. The LEDs are integrated modules rated for 25,000+ hours. At typical residential use (7 hours per day) this equates to approximately 10 years before noticeable light degradation. The entire fitting would need replacing after this period.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the Hidden Twin is designed for dry interior spaces only. It cannot be used in bathrooms, wet rooms, shower zones or outdoor locations where moisture is present.

How much directional adjustment do the heads offer?

Each LED head tilts and rotates independently within its gimbal housing. The retractable mechanism allows approximately 30-40 degrees of tilt from vertical, and full 360-degree rotation, enabling targeted lighting on artwork, features or surfaces without needing to reposition the entire fitting.
