Description

The Maytoni Hidden is a 90mm diameter recessed downlight with a retractable tilt mechanism that allows the LED module to swing out and rotate within the ceiling aperture, directing light up to approximately 30 degrees off-centre. A 10W integrated LED provides 3000K warm white light through a white powder-coated aluminium bezel and plastic diffuser, with the entire fitting recessing flush into the ceiling plane when set vertical.

Designed for accent lighting in residential living rooms, hallways, retail displays and hospitality spaces where directed light is needed without visible track or surface-mounted fittings, the Hidden suits ceiling void depths of 100mm or greater. The swing-out mechanism allows the beam to be aimed at wall art, architectural features, or specific zones within a room after installation, without needing to reposition the ceiling cut-out. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor areas only.

The white finish on the visible bezel integrates cleanly with white or light-coloured ceilings, reducing visual contrast when the fitting is set flush. The aluminium and plastic construction keeps the fitting lightweight at under 200g, minimising load on plasterboard ceilings.
