Description
The Heronwell table lamp is the smallest piece in the range at 220mm tall, 200mm wide and 125mm deep, with a single pebble shaped glass piece held in a small metal dish finished in gold and bronze. One G9 lamp behind the glass gives a low, warm pool of light rather than broad room lighting, which is what you want from a table light of this size. At 1.4kg it has enough weight to sit steady on a shelf or a side table without sliding about.
This is a lamp for the edges of a room, so a hall table, a shelf, a bedside where space is tight, a windowsill or a desk corner all suit it. It gives a low level glow for evenings when you do not want the main light on, and we would put two of them at either end of a sideboard to balance a long wall. It suits anyone who lights a room in layers rather than from a single ceiling fitting, and it doubles as a quiet reading light.
The dish and base are metal in gold and bronze, with a pebble shaped glass diffuser over a single G9 LED lamp of around 3W. It is not dimmable, so it runs at one level. Dust the metal with a dry, soft cloth and wipe the glass once the lamp is cool, keeping sprays off the lampholder. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms, so keep it away from basins and open windows in wet weather. As a Class 2 fitting it is double insulated. The Heronwell range also covers a semi-flush, a linear pendant and an extra large pendant.
