Description

The Heritage is a traditional rug in the Cream / Red colourway, built around a classic medallion design. A soft cream ground is scattered with fine scrolling vines and small red and brown motifs, while each medallion opens out in petals of red, brown and beige around a pale centre. A wide beige border, picked out with smaller motifs and edged by a thin red line, frames the field. The rectangle carries one large centre medallion, and the runner repeats it along its length. It is machine made from polypropylene with a high density weave, and the pile is smooth, so it feels even and level underfoot.

It is made for the living room, where one of the larger sizes sits comfortably under a sofa and coffee table and gives a traditional room a warm, settled centre. The runner suits a hallway, carrying the pattern down a long, narrow floor and softening the walk from the front door.
