Description

The Helix is a 1850mm sculptural floor lamp built around a single continuous spiral of antique brass-finished metal that coils from a 380mm circular base to a suspended ribbon loop at the top. An integrated 42W LED strip runs inside the spiral form, emitting 3360 lumens of 3000K warm white light through the curve itself, turning the entire structure into an illuminated sculpture rather than a lamp with a separate shade or diffuser.

Designed for living rooms, lounge areas and hospitality spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Helix provides ambient sculptural lighting rather than directed task light. The 120° beam angle disperses light broadly across the room, with the spiral form creating shadow patterns on nearby walls and ceilings as the light wraps around the coil. A foot dimmer on the cable allows output to be adjusted from full brightness down to a low glow without needing wall controls or smart switches.

The antique brass finish on the metal frame is darker and warmer than polished or brushed brass, with a slightly aged patina that pairs with rich wood furniture, deep fabric tones and warm-toned contemporary or Art Deco-inspired interiors. The spiral measures approximately 380mm in diameter at the widest point of each loop, giving the lamp a substantial physical presence without requiring floor space beyond the 380mm circular base. At 4.46kg the Helix is stable on most hard floors and short-pile rugs without additional weighting.

The LED is non-replaceable but rated for 25,000+ hours of use at 3000K colour temperature, maintaining consistent warm white output throughout its lifespan. The lamp ships with a UK 3-pin plug and a 2m cable terminated with the inline foot dimmer approximately 300mm from the plug end.
