Description

The HDview HC832R8TB is a 32-channel PoE network video recorder designed for commercial and large residential CCTV installations, supporting up to 8MP resolution recording across all channels with H.265 video compression. The unit combines a 16-port PoE switch and recording system in a single 1U rack-mount enclosure, pre-loaded with an 8TB surveillance-grade hard drive.

Built for 24/7 operation in retail, office, warehouse, and multi-dwelling residential environments, the NVR handles simultaneous recording, playback and remote viewing without interrupting any function. The 16 onboard PoE ports provide power and data to cameras up to 250m away over Cat5e or Cat6 cable, while the remaining 16 channels accept IP camera feeds from an external PoE switch. HDMI output supports up to 4K display resolution for local monitoring, and the built-in intelligent detection features — line cross detection and perimeter intrusion detection — reduce false motion alerts compared to basic motion-only triggering.

The 8TB pre-installed drive offers approximately 30-45 days of continuous recording at 8MP resolution depending on scene complexity and H.265 compression efficiency. The NVR supports four recording modes: continuous, scheduled, motion detection, and intelligent (triggered by the line cross and perimeter intrusion analytics). Remote monitoring is handled via the HDview mobile app for iOS and Android, allowing live view and playback from anywhere with internet access. USB ports on the front panel enable evidence transfer to USB flash drives or external hard drives without removing footage from the main storage.
